Weekend of 7/28

Industrial Arts ‘Zesty Enterprise’, 5.7% ABV, Saison. Garnerville, NY – Brewed with the Culinary Institute of America. Meyer lemon zest, pink peppercorns and rose hips amplify the already spicy character as this beer washes over your palate. A perfect summer beverage, if we may say so.

Gueuzerie Tilquin ‘Gueuze Tilquin Draft Version’, 4.8% ABV, Gueuze. Rebecca-Rognon, Belgium – A spontaneous fermentation beer obtained from the blending of a low alcohol lambic (Meerts;Boon) with 1 and 2 year old lambics (Lindemans, Cantillon, Girardin) matured in oak barrels. Unfiltered, unpasteurized. Tart, dry and refreshing with a fresh and lemony nose. Ideal for the summer and for discovering beers of spontaneous fermentation. Open Your Mind.

Hill Farmstead ‘Of First and Last Things‘, 6.5% ABV, IPA. Greensboro Bend, VT – Wonderful hop showcased IPA. Bright, balanced and quite dry with citrus rind bitterness, pithy tangerine,  grapefruit and a lingering creamsicle vanilla presence in body. Dry finish, grassy, and clean. Amazing as always. Believe the hype.
