Bockor ‘Cuvee Des Jacobins Kriek’, 4.5% ABV, Lambic. Bellegem, Belgium – This beer is a blend of 12 month old oak aged beer and fresh cherry juice. Offering big candied cherry aromas, it is very fruity yet features an artful balance between sweetness and acidity. Finishes bright with notes of cherry liqueur and almonds.
Pipeworks ‘Galaxy Ghost’, 8.5% ABV, Double IPA. Chicago, IL – DIPA brewed with Galaxy and Grungeist hops. A ton of citrus fruits, hints of orange, grapefruit, mango, pineapple and papaya along with a really nice hop bite. Hops come forward first with a nice bready crackery back bone to follow. Well executed DIPA from our friends over in Chi-town.
KCBC ‘Sandcastles’, 5.2% ABV, Summer Saison. Brooklyn, NY – Candied lemon peel and pilsner malt up front, with classic French saison yeast and extra dry finish. Notes of lemon zest, soft grain and light spice. Bring in a sandwich to enjoy alongside with a pint of this brew!
Brewski ‘Beet Me With Passion, Honey!‘, 4.7% ABV, Berliner Weisse. Helsingborg, Sweden – A different take on the classic German style with the addition of passionfruit for a refreshing vibe on a honey background and a small ‘beeting’ for coloring. Tart, tropical, musky fruit skins, sweet honey and light cereal grains in the finish. Real good.
