Grimm ‘Super Going’, 4.8% ABV, Gose. Brooklyn, – Dry-hopped Gose with Orange Zest and White Oak. Hazy and richly aromatic, aggressively dry hopped with Mandarina Bavaria and Huell Melon; lightly toasted white oak provides tannins. Assertively tart with light sea salty appearing on the finish. Citrus, hoppy and absolutely mouthwatering.
Barrier Brewing Co. ‘Tanto’, 7.1% ABV, IPA. Oceanside, NY – Aromas of lemon, garlic, WEED, mango and fresh cut grass. Soft, dank, grapefruit and fresh white onions in the taste with some pineapple in between and baked biscuits in the finish.
Common Roots/ Peekskill ‘Dualships’, 4% ABV, Grisette. South Glen Falls, NY/ Peekskill, NY – A portion of the beer was cooled in their coolship with Grains of Paradise, lemongrass, lemon basil and Columbus and Citra hops. Tight.
Burial Beer Co. / Jackie O’s ‘BlackFalls‘, 7.3% ABV, Baltic Porter. Asheville, NC/ Athens, OH – A Baltic Porter brewed in collaboration with Jackie O’s brewpub featuring dark malts, house lager yeast, rye malt from Riverbed and Appalachain Spicebush. Roast malts, dark chocolate, the spicebush comes through in a spicy peppery flavor similar to a very mild jalapeño.
