Maine Beer ‘Mean Old Tom’, 6,5% ABV. Freeport, ME – Their American-style stout aged on organic vanilla beans. Oh. My. Intense notes of coffee and dark chocolate lead way to subtle botes of natural vanilla. Flaked oats generate a silky mouthfeel.
Grimm ‘Suicide Door’, 10% ABV. Brooklyn, NY – A Triple IPA. This is the umped up version of their beloved Lambo Door. It’s double dry-hopped and packed with Simcoe lupulin, El Dorado, Citra and Galaxy hops. Notes of peach rings, gummy bear juice, Hubba Bubba bubblegum and tons of sweet juicy tropical fruits.
KCBC ‘Death From Below’, 4.2% ABV. Brooklyn, NY – An Oyster Stout. Full on roasty chocolate flavor, with just enough smooth creaminess to balance. Lightly mineral finish from 45 lbs of oyster shells added in the kettle. Extremely sessionable, please be aware if you have a shellfish allergy; stay clear! 🙂 Collaboration with Randolph Beer and Cape House.
Tired Hands ‘Helles is Other People’, 5,3% ABV. Ardmore, PA – A Helles Lagerbier. Brewed with German Pilsner Malt. Hopped with Cascade and Nelson. Light and affirming. Notes of effervescent cereal, light citrus, minor dankness and fresh bread.
