Off Color ‘Bare Bear’, 7% ABV. Chicago, IL – A Sahti – the Ancient Beer of Finland. Chock full of rye and juniper and spicy yeast esters with notes of toffee, rye, berries, juniper and molasses.
Hill Farmstead ‘Everett‘, 7,2% ABV. Greensboro Bend, VT – A Porter crafted from American malted barley, English and German roasted malts, American hops, Hill Farmstead ale yeast, and water from the well at the brewery. Decadent in its depth, with a complex backbone of chocolate, coffee and malty sweetness.
Mikkeller SD ‘Freddie Murkury’, 9% ABV. San Diego, CA – A New England Double IPA brewed with Simcoe and Mosaic hops. Tropical fruity medley with some nice juicy grapefruit, satsuma sweetness, light pale malty support, juicy full mouthfeel and assertive hoppy into the finish. Lovely.
